Annette Ferguson Honored For 25 Years of Service at Merchants & Planters Bank
Raymond, MS—Annette Ferguson of Learned was recently honored for completing 25 years of service to Merchants & Planters Bank. The announcement was made by H. R. Kilby, Jr., President of the Hinds County based bank founded in 1906.
“March 18th marked Mrs. Ferguson’s 25th year as an employee,” Kilby said. “Her attentive, friendly manner with customers is what M & P’s approach to banking is all about,” he added. The bank presented Ferguson a plaque and a pair of silver candlesticks at a recent training meeting to commemorate her silver anniversary as an employee.
A native of Utica, Ferguson is a graduate of Utica High School. She and her husband Bill live in Learned and are members of the Salem Baptist Church. They have two children—Patricia Woodward and Carol Walker—and six grandchildren. Her hobbies include watching her grandchildren play sports, shopping with her oldest granddaughter and cooking for her family.
