Raymond, MS—The board of directors of Merchants & Planters Bank recently promoted Lisa Smith to Vice President—Loan Administration, according to H. R. Kilby, Jr., President of the Hinds County based bank founded in 1906.

        With the Clinton branch since 2002, Ms. Smith has also served as Assistant Vice President in charge of the bank’s Home Loan Department. A native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, she has a bachelor of science in Business Administration from Mississippi College.
